Social Media for the Practicing Interventionalist: A Two-Part Webinar Series - Part I – Twitter 101: How to Promote Your Work, Practice, and Professional Interests

Recorded On: 10/17/2017

Social media has changed the way we receive, follow and engage with new information: personally and professionally. Furthermore, major medical societies and high-impact scientific journals use social media as a platform to broadcast news, publish a table of contents or generate discussions among members and followers. However, the majority of practicing interventional cardiologists either don’t use social media or don’t know how to use social media, specifically Twitter, professionally. The purpose of this webinar series is to provide a jump-start to those who aren’t currently part of the cardiovascular community’s dialogue on social media and to help those currently using Twitter to advance their skills and knowledge to conduct research, educate patients and market one’s clinical expertise or practice.
